Su Espacio (Spanish for ‘your space’) began as a place where the people of Atenas could go for a variety of performing arts classes.  Using the existing teachers and classes available in Atenas, it was a location that could be rented by the hour that would provide all of the equipment needed such as a clean, available space.  Ballet, aerobics, Pilates and Tae Kwon Do classes occupied the first classes.  Quickly, the community began asking for English classes, and within the first two months, 8 English classes were added to the schedule.  Soon after, rhythmic gymnastics and popular dance were added.  Before the two months were over, Spanish classes were introduced.  There are currently over 59 hours of classes available.
